Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Vaultford, a brand of Vault Media Network ("Vaultford," "we," "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit vaultford.com or submit a comparison request through our services. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information — such as your name, email address, phone number, and postal code or address.
  • Request details — the information relevant to the product you ask us to compare, such as vehicle and financing details, insurance coverage needs, or home project details.
  • Communications — messages you send to us, including support and privacy requests.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — including analytics and advertising cookies and pixels (for example, Meta Pixel and Google tags) used to measure our advertising and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We do not ask for, and you should never enter, passwords, banking credentials, or full payment card numbers on this site.

2. How we use your information

  • To match your comparison request with lenders, licensed insurance professionals, or service providers in our network who serve your area ("Matched Providers") and to transmit your request details to them so they can respond to you.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site and our services.
  • To communicate with you about your request and respond to your inquiries.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and marketing.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. How we share your information

With Matched Providers. When you submit a comparison request, you consent to our sharing the information in that request with the Matched Providers selected for it, so they can contact you with offers, quotes, or estimates by the contact methods disclosed at the point of submission. Matched Providers handle your information under their own privacy policies once received.

With service providers. We use vendors who help us operate the site (such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and security). They may process information on our behalf and are limited to the purposes we specify.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.

Business transfers. If Vault Media Network or the Vaultford brand is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information to unrelated data brokers or marketers outside the matching purpose described above.

4. Consent and communications

Where you provide express consent at the point of submitting a request, Matched Providers and/or Vaultford may contact you by phone, email, or text message about that request. Consent to be contacted is described at the point of collection and is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

You may withdraw consent or opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, reply STOP to any text message, ask any caller to place you on their do-not-call list, or contact us at privacy@vaultford.com. Canadian communications comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL); communications to U.S. residents comply with applicable U.S. laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

5. Your rights

Canada

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, you may request access to and correction of your personal information, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), and ask questions or make complaints about our handling of it. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

United States

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us as described below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@vaultford.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

6. Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, accounting, and audit requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

We operate from Canada and work with providers and vendors in Canada and the United States. Your information may be processed in either country, where privacy laws may differ from those of your residence.
