Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vaultford.com and the comparison and referral services offered on it (together, the "Services"), operated by Vaultford, a brand of Vault Media Network ("Vaultford," "we," "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. What Vaultford is — and is not
Vaultford is a free consumer comparison and referral service. We connect consumers with third-party lenders, licensed insurance professionals, and service providers ("Providers") who may present offers, quotes, or estimates.
Vaultford is not a lender, creditor, mortgage or insurance broker, insurance carrier or agency, financial advisor, or contractor. We do not:
- make credit decisions or extend credit;
- issue, underwrite, or service insurance policies;
- perform, supervise, or warrant any home services;
- provide financial, legal, insurance, or tax advice.
All decisions about rates, terms, premiums, coverage, approvals, scheduling, and workmanship are made solely by Providers. Your relationship with any Provider — including any application, contract, or purchase — is directly between you and that Provider and governed by their terms.
2. No offers, no guarantees
Content on this site, including any example rates, premiums, savings figures, or timelines, is for illustration only and does not constitute an offer, quote, approval, or guarantee. Your actual terms, if any, depend on the Provider's own evaluation of your circumstances and may differ significantly from any example. Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will be matched with a Provider or receive any offer.
3. Eligibility
The Services are available to individuals who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and located in regions our Provider network serves. By submitting a request you confirm the information you provide is accurate, about yourself, and submitted with authority to do so.
4. Consent to be matched and contacted
When you submit a comparison request, you authorize us to share the information in that request with matched Providers, and you consent to being contacted about it as disclosed at the point of submission and described in our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent as described there.
5. How we are compensated
Providers compensate Vaultford for referrals and related marketing services. This compensation may influence which Providers participate in our network and how matches are made. The Services remain free to consumers, and no compensation arrangement obligates you to accept any offer.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false or third-party information without authority; interfere with the operation or security of the Services; scrape, harvest, or resell data from the Services; or use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The Vaultford name, wordmark, vault-dial logo, site design, and content are the property of Vault Media Network and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as needed to view and use the Services as intended.
8. Third-party links and content
The Services may reference or link to Provider websites and other third-party resources. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any match or offer will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaultford and Vault Media Network will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services or your dealings with any Provider. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred dollars (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vaultford and Vault Media Network from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes to the Services and these Terms
We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the current version. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in New Brunswick have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, except where applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.
